Pike, who took on the chairman's position just two months ago, has resigned after a short tenure for personal reasons.

Witney`s committee convened a meeting last night to discuss the issues facing the club with regard to the loss of both chairman and manager and have agreed a way forward in the short term.

They hope to announce something over the next few days.
