He was delighted to confirm Ben Lacey is staying at Winterfield Road.
Bunyard said: “Ben had a very good offer to join Frome Town in the league above, but we have managed to convince him Paulton is where his future is.
“He is an exciting talent and on his day is completely unplayable at this level so we are obviously delighted to retain his services. My job is to try and get him to play consistently at the level we know he's capable of. It's a great boost for the lads as Ben could be vital to our ambitions this year.”
Lacey joins Marcus Mapstone, Craig Loxton, Scott Brice, Kyle Phillips, Stuart Tovey, Steve Bridges, Josh Jeffries and Dan Cleverley, who have all agreed terms for the new season.
“Many of last year's squad have been targeted by our local rivals, so it is pleasing to have so many on board to date,” added Bunyard.
