The Tigers have now brought in vastly experienced goalkeeper Paul Bastock from Blue Square Bet North side Boston United, while Ryan Clarke and Lee Beeson have both agreed terms for next season.
Bastock kicked off his second spell with Boston in March 2011. Having made a club record 625 appearances in his first stint with the Pilgrims between 1992 and 2004, Bastock returned after a seven-year absence following an injury to first choice keeper Dan Haystead.
Following a string of impressive performances, Bastock, now 42, agreed a new deal in the summer of 2011, having stretched his appearances record to 634 by the conclusion of the 2010/11 campaign.
He had originally joined the Pilgrims in 1992 following spells with Coventry City, Cambridge United and Kettering Town and went on to establish all kinds of records during his first stint at the club. He was named as player of the year in 1992/93 and 2002/03 and was an ever-present in the club’s opening two Football League campaigns.
The Leamington Spa-born keeper played for the likes of Dagenham & Redbridge, St Albans City and Rushden & Diamonds during his seven-year break from life with the Pilgrims.
Clarke arrived from Worcester City last season. His previous clubs include Ilkeston Town, Notts County, Boston United, Eastwood Town and Northwich Victoria.
Beeson is a former Grimsby Town youngster who was Stamford AFC`s top scorer for 2009/10 and 2010/11 before signing for Conference North side Corby Town in November 2011.
He moved to the Tigers last season following a successful loan spell at Sandy Lane.
