Nurse Boost for Riversiders
Matt Nurse

....down the opportunity to return to one of his former teams, Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South outfit Loughborough Dynamo.

Nurse joined the Riversiders in the summer from Quorn as a player-coach in what was seen as a major coup for the club. However, after some eye catching performances in recent months an approach was made for the goalkeeper, only for the 31-year-old to turn down the move without hesitation after permission to speak to the player was granted by the Riversiders.

Several other clubs have contacted Nurse since the start of the season to express their interest in signing the player, but the talented keeper has confirmed that he will remain with the Riversiders for the rest of the campaign.

Nurse is not the only player in the squad that has been courted in recent weeks by circling clubs, but with the Riversiders` involved in what looks to be an exciting championship challenge, each of the players has vowed to remain loyal to the club.
