The North West Counties Football League
Published 12th June 2012
The logo will be used throughout season 2012/13 and replaces the current logo.
The league was formed in 1982 following the merger of the Lancashire Combination and Cheshire Football Leagues.
Although the basic structure of the logo has not changed, the colours have been changed to represent the colours of each of the County Football Associations from which the league was formed.
The red lions on a white background have been replaced with yellow lions on a red background, representing the Lancashire FA logo, while the blue on the lower portion of the crest has been darkened to more closely resemble the Cheshire FA logo.
The scrolls at the top and bottom of the logos, the edge of the shield and the hay stacks have all be given a gold effect in celebration of the anniversary.
