Brian brings considerable experience to the post, being in charge when Penrith recorded possibly their finest ever victory over Chester City in the First Round of the FA Cup.

His enthusiasm remains undiminished and he has served the club in a variety of roles over many years.

Wharton recently successfully completed his UEFA B coaching badge and has managed the Ladies team who have recently won the County Cup.
