....future of winger Kevin Holsgrove remains clouded in uncertainty.
Burrow was in the stands to watch his new team-mates clinch their first home league victory of the season, 2-0 against Hinckley United on Tuesday night, thanks to goals from debutant Nathan Stainfield and Danny Sleath. The Pilgrims pounced for the highly-rated front man after impressing in Chesterfield's reserve team.
"He holds up the ball very well. He gets in behind defences and he's very clever with his runs," said joint-manager Lee Canoville.
"He's a good finisher and was top scorer in their youth team last season and was a regular in their reserves.
"They rate him very highly at Chesterfield so we're delighted to get him for a month. They want him to get some games under his belt and they know that me and Jason Lee will look after him.
"It's another option for us in the striking department. He's the type of striker we haven't got at the club. I'm sure he'll add something to the squad."
However, Holsgrove's York Street future looks bleak after he was left out of the squad for last night's game.
Canoville says the future of the former Hyde FC wide man, who is based in the north-west, will be decided by talks this week.
"We've got to sit down and have a meeting with him," said Canoville last night.
"He's wasn't in the squad tonight. Myself and Jason felt that was the right thing to do in the circumstances."
