....his players to forget their opponents and concentrate on their own game ahead of the visit of Bishops Cleeve on Saturday.
Saunders' men approach the game in superb form, having not tasted defeat in ten matches.
That includes Tuesday night's 2-1 Devon St Luke's Bowl quarter-final win at Bideford – their first in five attempts this season against their rivals.
Bishops Cleeve are in fine form themselves, sitting one place above Tivvy and having only lost once in their last nine games, but Saunders insists his side should just concentrate on maintaining their good form.
"It will be tough. I think we drew with them earlier in the season and they are on a good run of form at the moment," he said.
"But I am not too bothered about them to be honest. If we carry on playing as we know we can play and have been doing recently then we know we are a match for anybody in the division.
"I think the rest we will have had by then will have done most of the team good.
"I know some of the lads were playing for other teams at the weekend and some of them were involved on Tuesday night, so they will be ready."
Assistant-manager Hedley Steele was delighted with the win over Bideford, particularly as it meant a chance to shine for the club's younger prospects.
It was left to the established duo of Liam Ellis and Michael Nardiello to score the goals, with the former scoring via a deflection in the first half.
The hosts equalised from the spot shortly after the restart following Russell Jee's foul, but Nardiello kept his composure to slot the ball under the onrushing keeper to seal the win.
"You can talk about potential in the lads forever and a day but you can't tell until they play in the first team fixtures and see how they do," said Steele. "We have played those youngsters and they have stepped up and helped us get the win, so that is great from our view point.
"I would honestly swap this for three points because that would make a great difference to us, but a win is a win so we can just enjoy the moment."
