Plenty of New Moles

...with a number of fresh faces on show.

Among them was new player-manager Craig Faulconbridge, who took over the reins from Steve Smith after the Moles flirted with relegation last season.

Having revealed a `mystery` new signing was on the way last week, Faulconbridge unveiled his latest addition as midfielder Davis Haule, brother of veteran front man Brian.

Faulconbridge said: “He’s a very energetic powerful midfielder. He’s very competent on the ball. He just tears midfields to pieces.”

The centre of the park has been a key area the new boss has looked to strengthen and he was particularly pleased to snare ‘technical’ midfielder Dan Jones from fierce rivals Aylesbury United.

The boss also confirmed further arrivals were imminent, as they prepare to host Oxford United in their first friendly on Wednesday.

Faulconbridge added: “We have made some really promising signings for the new season.

“These players are extremely motivated and want to play the way both myself and Keith Walker want to play.

“Pre-season so far has been hard but has shown that all players are onboard and are ready to fight for their places.”
