.....Chris Plummer as the new manager at Steel Park.
Plummer, who had taken the reins on a caretaker basis following Ian Sampson's resignation, will take charge of his second game on Saturday when the Steelmen host Colwyn Bay.
The new manager will be looking to build on their impressive win away at Workington last weekend, where goals from Josh Moreman, Stefan Galinski and Avelino Vierra secured all three points.
Plummer played professionally for QPR, Bristol Rovers, Barnet, Peterborough, Grays Athletic and Rushden & Diamonds.
He made his QPR début in May 1996 against Nottingham Forest and played sixty-two League games and scored two goals before leaving Loftus Road for Barnet in 2003.
In December 2006, he retired aged 30 to work in financial services. He played semi-professional football for Peterborough Northern Star in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League until May 2009, when he was announced as the new manager of Northern Star following Tommy Cooper's move from the dug-out to the board room.
He joined Corby in May 2012 as Ian Sampson's assistant-manager.
