Daniels has confirmed that Carl Poppy, a versatile performer who can play in many positions, has joined from league rivals Norwich United.
Daniels said: “Carl had a very successful career at Lowestoft Town, starting there at the age of 16, breaking into a very good side at a young age and, of course, the rest is history - Ridgeons League winner twice and that trip to Wembley in the FA Vase final.
“After Lowestoft's promotion to Ryman League football, Carl, after working hard to get into the first-team, found it hard to get regular football and decided to make the move to Norwich United, playing an important part of two good seasons at Plantation Park.
“He has decided to make the move to Emerald Park and is another quality signing for us to add to the two players we already have in.
“We hope with last year's squad, that our pre-season signings are done, although we are still awaiting an answer on another player.”
