....back from a goal down to win 2-1 at Bridgwater Town with a goal 4 minutes from time.

Ross McNab gave the home side a 22nd minute lead that Luke Hopper cancelled out 8 minutes later.

And it was summer signing Ben Pugh who won it for the visitors late on.

Cinderford Town, two ahead at the break through Lewis Sommers and Lee Smith, completed a 3-1 home win over Paulton Rovers with a third from Matt Smith after Scott Brice had pulled Rovers back into the game after 58 minutes.

Didcot Town scored a goal in each half from Lance and Morgan Williams to defeat visiting Yate Town 2-0, while Evesham United scored on the stroke of half-time through Marcus Palmer to record a 1-0 victory over Sholing to make it a winning start in their new stadium.

Cirencester Town scored 3 minutes before the break through James Reid to win 1-0 at Mangotsfield United, and Bishops Cleeve, a Carl Brown goal ahead after 8 minutes, won 3-1 at North Leigh with further strikes from Lamin Sankoh and Stuart Midwinter.

Fancied Poole Town scored a goal in each half through Marvin Brookes to record a 2-0 home win over Clevedon Town, while newly-promoted Winchester City made a winning start with a 3-2 home victory against Taunton Town with four of the goals coming in the final 10 minutes from Michael Charles and Tom Dunford for City and a Rodney Marsh brace for the Peacocks after Leigh Mills had given the home side a 37th minutes lead.

Another of the newcomers, Shortwood United, took a point from a 2-2 home draw with Wimborne Town and another, Merthyr Town, were two ahead midway through the second half from Russell Jones and Andrew Thomas, but also had to settle for a point when hosts Swindon Supermarine made it 2-2 with 5 minutes remaining, courtesy of Ashley Edenborough`s second of the game.

The game between Tiverton Town and Abingdon United finished goalless at Ladysmead.
