RA Offer Quakers Fans Games for £1

....holders that they can watch games at Brinkburn Road for just £1 per game for the rest of the season.

The RA have a big promotion match against Northallerton Town this Saturday, and the club is keen to invite any Darlington season ticket holders to watch the game for £1 as long as they produce their season ticket at the turnstile. The normal admission is £3. Secretary Chris Griffin said: "It is our way of trying to keep football going in the town.

"A lot of people enjoy football in Darlington. We've got a good set-up, we're playing some good football, so why not come along and watch the game?

"Everyone is welcome. Even those who aren't season ticket holders at Darlington just have to pay £3 at the gate. Hopefully, the club will be saved - I used to go and watch them myself - we'd like nothing better, but we just want people to know that there is still football at a good level in the town."
