Ramsbottom`s joint-managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley have signed 29-year old Kristian Evans from North West Counties League neighbours Rochdale Town.

The 6`4" centre forward has notched six goals for the Gabs in ten league outings.

The Rams announced the signing on Christmas Eve and say their management team had no hesitation about signing a player who's expressed his desire to step up into the NPL after previously playing alongside Morley earlier in his career.

Evans is in line to make his Rams debut away to Clitheroe on Boxing Day.
