Rebels Raid Former Landlords for Striker

Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club Slough Town signed 19-year-old centre-forward Callum Bunting from former landlords, Southern Division One Central neighbours Beaconsfield SYCOB.

Slough`s joint bosses Jon Underwood and Neil Baker have been tracking Bunting since pre-season, and with 17 league goals to his name this season in the Southern League Division One Central, we are delighted to be getting him now.

This has been ongoing for a few weeks as Bunting has been on trial at a couple of professional clubs. However, he felt that the higher level of football with Slough would help in his ultimate quest to play full-time football.

Meanwhile, Lewis Putman has finished his loan period with struggling league rivals Hayes & Yeading United and will re-join the squad for the run-in.

Going out will be Dan Hicks, who has been the interest of a couple of clubs in the Southern League.

After a conversation with him we have decided it will be best if he goes and plays somewhere else, as with Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Nathan Smart and Jesse Wilson Slough are well covered at centre-half, and can therefore not see him getting any game time in the run-in.
