Reduced Admission Initiative at Boro

...offer of reduced admission for their final two home games of the season.

Admission will be just £3 for the matches on the 17th April versus Daisy Hill and the 21st April versus Cheadle Town at The Whitebank Stadium.

Boro's website editor Paul Cullen said: "We want to involve the Limeside/Limehurst people from the local area in what we are trying to achieve at Oldham Boro, especially with plans regarding our future, and this is why we have launched 'Getting Limeside Onside'.

"As happens at a lot of grounds, we see quite a few people entering the stadium for free after half-time. Our treasurer Steve Needham recently conducted a survey around the Limeside area, where the Whitebank Stadium is situated, and the feedback we received made it clear that local residents were interested in following the team but, in the current climate, our £5 adult admission put them off attending from the start.

"Last Monday, we offered a reduced adult rate of £3 to those who'd helped with Steve's survey and it proved very successful. Therefore, the club have decided to continue this discounted rate for our final two home fixtures and extend it to any adult who attends the game. In addition we are trialling a new style programme which will also sell at a cheaper price of 50p.

"Our landlords, Oldham Rugby League, have kindly offered us the use of their pitchside clubhouse for our remaining home games so we'd like to invite fans of both Daisy Hill and Cheadle Town to join us in the clubhouse where we have our own snackbar plus the use of the rugby's bar facility.”
