Guy, who was Warminster chief in the 2009/10 season, spent last season as part of the Town squad and replaces Tom O’Brien, who is staying on as assistant secretary.

The returning Town boss will be assisted by Paul Newman and Ashley Wain.

“I had to step away last year to concentrate on my family because I’d just had a baby son but after Tom stepped down, I was happy to do it again,” said Guy.

“I’ve got some good guys to help me out and they’ll make sure that everything isn’t on my shoulders.”

O’Brien, who led Warminster to a twelfth-placed finish last season, added: “I was always only supposed to be in charge for a year and that was always the plan so there’s no hard feelings.

“The club wants to go with Jason and the team is in good hands – I’m happy that I’m still part of the club.”
