.....a number of signings ahead of the new season.

Three members of last season`s squad have committed to another season - full-backs Tom Browne and Will Bratt along with midfielder Gianluca Riccio. Also Martin Williams has signed Southern League forms.

Browne, a left-sided player who started out as a trainee at Reading before joining Hungerford Town, has a sweet left foot and is deadly from free-kicks.

Browne started last season playing reserve team football before forcing his way into the first-team, impressing during the second half of the season and going on to win the club`s most improved player award.

Bratt is a hardworking defender who can play at either right or left-back. He had an impressive first season at the club in 2010/11 and is a popular member of the team both on and off the field.

Riccio is a player whose excellent work often goes un-noticed. He has the ability to read the game and break up play which makes him a very valuable member of the squad.

Williams will be well-known to many Thatcham fans after a period playing for Reading between 1995-2000, appearing 127 times and scoring twenty-six goals.

He enjoyed a League career playing for, amongst others, Luton Town, Reading, Colchester United and Swindon Town.
