Neville Roach

....appointment of a new first-team manager in Neville Roach.

The much-travelled 33-year-old former Reading, Southend, Basingstoke Town and Maidenhead United forward joins Thatcham from Combined Counties League side Hartley Wintney after leading them into third place in Division One last season and into the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

Roach succeeds Gary Ackling, who, along with assistant Jason Braidwood, quit after the final game of the season against Wimborne Town.

In addition, Andy Allum has been appointed as reserve team manager.
