....keen to retain the majority of last season's squad.

He said: "Very few players are 100 per cent certain as to what they are doing next season as some naturally want to try their luck at a higher level. And as a club we would always encourage this.

"It's too early to say whether my job will be a case of adding three or four players to the squad or totally rebuilding it. "It will depend on how many of the current players wish to stay involved in the club. "I have plenty of new players keen to come and so I have both eventualities covered." Meanwhile, Taunton will be playing mid-week games on Tuesdays this season, instead of Mondays. Club secretary Martin Dongworth explained: "Lee would prefer we play on Tuesdays. "It gives players more time in which to recover from Saturday games. "Our ladies will also be playing at Wordsworth Drive on Sundays and it gives us an extra day in which to work on the pitch." Taunton are also proposing to field a new under-21 side this season. "It all adds up to extra use of the pitch which is looking in better shape than it has for many years," added Dongworth.
