Rocks Can Light Up Now

The Division One West league leaders need to have them in place by the start of the 2013/14 season when new FA rules come in place to continue playing at their current level.

Secretary Graham Shipp stated: 'This is a major milestone for 'The Rocks' and a big thank you must go to Barrie Whittaker who has been coordinating the application, which was originally submitted on 29th October 2010 and then resubmitted due to various issues on 8th June 2011.

"It's been a journey of frustration for everyone at the Club, but finally we are there, now we must kick on with the finances and try and have them in place for the start of next season."

Meanwhile, the club have announced the signing of Joe White from Toolstation Western League side Odd Down.

White started his career at Bristol Rovers and has since had spells at Yate Town, Bath City and Almondsbury Town.

'Joe has been on our radar for a little while now, he has a great attitude and will add quality and professionalism to our squad. We are always looking to improve the squad when good players become available, and Joe certainly fits that criteria,' said Rocks manager Gary Powell.
