Rose Agrees to Stay at Dulwich
Gavin Rose

.....Dulwich Hamlet manager, despite his budget being cut for next season.

The highly-rated boss has led the club to the Ryman Division One South play-off final in the last two seasons - they lost 1-0 to Bognor Regis Town earlier this month - as well as producing a number of youngsters who have made the jump into the Football League.

Assistant-manager Junior Kadi and coach Kevin James have also committed to another twelve months at Champion Hill.

Rose said: “The budget will be cut a little bit next year, which will make life that little bit harder, so we had to decide whether to give it a go or whether we would be working in vain. You never really know, but we’ve got a hunch we can still get promotion.

“It is a significant cut and we already weren’t one of the better budgets in the league. It 100 per cent makes it more of a challenge but when we get the boys back together we’ll make sure that everybody understands that it is not an excuse.”
