Rushall in Rearranged Cup Final Action

.....rearranged Staffordshire Senior Cup Final against NPL First Division South side Kidsgrove Athletic.

“We’ve had a bit of a break since our last game,” admitted manager, Neil Kitching. “But we’ve had some good, sharp training sessions and are prepared and ready to go.

“It’ll be a tough game. Yes, they are a level below us but that will count for nothing.

“They are a good side who have been together for a number of years. They’re big and strong and it’s going to be a case of whoever performs best on the night will take the prize.

“Previous form counts for nothing; it’s a one-off game and we’ll be looking to get some silverware.”

Both Christian Dacres and Lucan Spittle face late fitness tests, whilst Craig Bannister and Martyn Naylor are ruled out.

The game will take place at Vale Park, home of Port Vale FC, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
