....announced that Iain Parr has been appointed as the new manager/head coach.
Parr has accepted the role with immediate effect, having been part of the Peterborough United coaching staff and, after speaking to them at length, they gave him such a glowing report that the Saints invited him to apply for the position.
Parr’s qualities outshone everyone, he is a top coach and holds UEFA B and UEFA A Part One coaching licences which gives him coaching skills at the highest level.
Chairman Mike Kearns said: "I am very happy with this appointment. Iain has shown all the credentials we are looking for to take our football club forward. Not only is Iain a highly qualified coach but a local man who supports St Neots Town FC.
“Iain came to the club to watch the team on a regular basis last season and is familiar with the style of football our club plays, and is well aware of the quality of our playing staff.
“Continuity is the key to continued and future success and in Iain we believe that we have the right man in place to take the whole club onwards and upwards and help us achieve our ambitions on and off of the pitch.”
