....as St Ives Town bid for another successful season.

The Saints’ joint-manager has recruited hotshot Karl Gibbs and midfielder Jimmy Dean from their rivals.

They will help fill the gaps left by Scott Fielding, who has joined Thurlow Nunn League Division One neighbours Godmanchester Rovers, and the retired Ozie Foster, with Hall still keen to add a couple more new faces to his squad.

"We’ve not got the money where you can ask people to travel an hour and a half to play for you, so we’ve got to look for the best players within half an hour, really," said Hall, whose side beat Thurlow Nunn Leaguers Fakenham Town 1-0 in the FA Cup on Saturday.
