Second Player Does U-Turn on Lynn

....Town’s second summer signing to complete a dramatic U-turn and leave The Walks before a ball has even been kicked.

Gaughran joins midfielder Lewis Webb in leaving the Linnets just weeks after shaking hands on a deal with boss Gary Setchell.

The Linnets boss said he was “disappointed” by the 22-year-old’s decision after “meeting every demand” to the defender’s weekend request of “wanting more security”.

After a series of text messages with the player, Setchell says Gaughran has now decided to re-join Ryman League Premier Division outfit Lowestoft Town, who he left to sign for the Linnets last month.
