Secretary Follows Manager Out at Norton

....heels of manager Conrad Hillerby, who left after four seasons in charge.

Lawson has been involved with the club for nine seasons in various roles, and will now be pursuing a role as an assistant referee in the second division.

“I have decided to step down from my role as club secretary of Norton & Stockton Ancients FC and will be leaving the club.

“I find it impossible to work under the current circumstances. I would like to put on record that I have had some really great times over the past nine seasons and have made some great friends.

“I will leave with some great memories and achievements from the club but I feel that my position is unworkable and I am unable to fulfill my roles under the current circumstances.”
