Allan McMinigal

The Blues have this week signed attacking duo Allan McMinigal and Jared Lusted, and both will go straight into the squad for the visit from Hassocks on Saturday.

McMinigal, a skillful left-footed player, scored nine goals as Sidley clinched promotion to Division One by finishing third in Division Two during the 2009/10 season.

He also netted twice for the Blues in the early part of last term before joining Bexhill United where he scored four times for a side which finished fourth in Division Two.

McMinigal, pictured, signed for Rye United on the eve of the current campaign and scored in their opening day win over Horsham YMCA before picking up a hamstring injury three days later which sidelined him for several weeks.

The pacey Lusted scored twenty goals for Little Common, including one against Sidley at Gullivers on Boxing Day, as they finished fourth in Division Two in 2009/10 before injury ruled him out of almost all of last season.

He joined Ryman League Division One South outfit Eastbourne Town in time for the current campaign, but has featured mainly in the reserves and joins Sidley on a dual-registration basis having recently recovered from an injury of his own.
