Rob Edmans

....from npower League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge.

Edmans joined the Daggers in July 2011 from Chelmsford City on a two-year contract.

He attended Loughborough University in 2006 then played college soccer in Virginia for the Virginia Tech Hokies in America. Upon his return to England he trialled with Southend United before joining Tiptree United then Maldon Town in 2007/08.

The following season he returned to Leicestershire and played for Loughborough Dynamo in the Northern Premier League. He impressed Chelmsford during a pre-season game in 2009/10 when playing against the Clarets’ for Witham Town and signed terms soon afterwards.

He finally made his Daggers debut at Millwall in the FA Cup Third Round after recovering from a fractured leg after helping Chelmsford reach the Conference South play-offs the previous season.

He joined another Conference South side, Dover Athletic, late last season to continue to regain his fitness levels.
