Sills arrived at the Camrose at the end of the 1998/99 season, as a 19-year-old, joining from Camberley Town. He scored after only 5 minutes of his debut and went on to score forty-four goals in 105 games for Town.
He left the Camrose for Kingstonian and then on to Aldershot Town where he began to play full-time when the Shots decided to abandon their part-time status in line with a number of other Conference clubs.
He was amongst the goals at Aldershot and then had short spells at Oxford United and Hereford United before a move to Devon in June 2007.
The goals flowed at Plainmoor – forty-seven in two and a half years - Sills becoming the first Gulls player to score twenty goals in two successive seasons.
He scored in the Conference National play-off final against Cambridge United that sent Torquay back to the football league.
Sills departed Devon for Stevenage Borough and a short return to Aldershot before coming back to the Camrose.
Sills is looking forward to his return to the Dragons and joins former Stevenage team-mate Ashley Bayes and believes that the Dragons will be a force to be reckoned with this season.
Stoke have also signed midfielder Wes Daly, who has played at Bromley since 2009.
The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Queens Park Rangers, where he turned professional and made his debut as a teenager in March 2002.
Released by QPR in February 2005, he went on to play for Grays Athletic, AFC Wimbledon, Maidenhead United and Boreham Wood before joining Bromley.
