Sinton Admits Sharp Interest
Chris Sharp

....club`s striker Chris Sharp after receiving an enquiry.

"We've had an enquiry from a team around three weeks ago which came to nothing but that interest has intensified over the past few weeks," confirmed Sinton, speaking after yesterday's game with Wrexham.

"Chris came to see me about a week ago and there was nothing doing, but it's a Conference club, a full-time club, and if the fees right then Chris will probably express a desire to go, so that's where we are.

"In line with what we've said over the past few days we need everybody 100% committed, not for the next two games or the next three games but for the rest of the season because we're in a battle, and it's a battle we'll win."

Sinton also confirmed he was looking to bring new faces in over the next few weeks. "I'll be speaking to my board over the next week and I'm sure they'll be as supportive as they can, and if we've got two or three going out then we're likely to have two or three coming the other way to stiffen us up and freshen us up."

"The next twenty-four games is twenty-four cup finals, that's what I've said today and that's how I'll be selling it. We'll be fighting for every point, at every venue, against every team. It's gone against us today but wheels are in motion and against Wrexham or against Southport I'd like to have two or three new faces in."
