Leatherhead made is six successive wins in the Bostik League Premier on Wednesday night when they came back from behind to beat neighbours Merstham 2-1 at Fetcham Grove.

In front of a crowd of 316, it was goalless at the break, and continued even-steven until just past the hour-mark when it was the visiting Moatsiders who took the lead with a `worldie` from former Crystal Palace and Southend United forward Ryan Hall.

However, 15 minutes from time, the in-form Tanners pulled back on level terms through assistant boss Jack Midson.

And then, just 5 minutes later, Tom Derry popped up with the home side`s winner.

The victory moves Sammy Moore`s side up to ninth with still games in hand on most above them, while it`s getting nervy for the Moatsiders, who are nineteenth, but only seven points above bottom-markers Burgess Hill Town, who have three games in hand on them.
