Dorchester Town fell to their sixth defeat in seven games in the Evo-Stik League South Premier on Monday night.
The Magpies suffered a disappointing 4-1 Avenue Stadium defeat to a Frome Town outfit for whom this was a third success.
The visitors took a 15th minute lead from 12 yards when Jake Jackson wriggled free past a couple of defenders to beat Chris Weale.
But the hosts levelled on 39 minutes when Billy Lowes netted from a breakaway – Dorchester`s first goal in five matches.
But they failed to make the most of that and 7 minutes after the break, Frome re-took the lead when Jackson`s cross was converted by Joe Raynes.
Five minutes later, it was virtually game over when Kris Miller was brought down in the box and Jon Davies converted the resulting penalty to make it 3-1.
And with 13 minutes remaining, Davies ran forward and laid the ball off for Jackson to add Frome`s fourth.
