Last year’s captain, winner of the supporters` and managers` player of the year trophies, as well as recently being voted into the Ryman Premier Select XI as the best centre back in the league, has committed his future to the Rooks for another season.

Manager Simon Wormull, who has been in discussions with Robinson for the past month, was delighted to announce the news: “This is one of the main signings that I wanted to make for next season. Robbo has signalled his commitment to the club, even though he had several other offers on the table, and for us it is marvellous news. Every team needs a talisman and we now have ours again for next season.

“When you have a player of his stature, on and off the pitch, is has an effect on everyone at the club, and the reaction to the news from supporters, players and the Board of Directors has been phenomenal, and just goes to show the high regard that Robbo is held in here.”
