Soap Stars to Shine at Whitstable

The first stars have been announced for Celebrity Soap Stars match at the Belmont Ground, Whitstable on Sunday, 22nd July.

Likely to be appearing are Danny Miller (Emmerdale), Jack McMullen (Waterloo Road), Will Rush (Waterloo Road), Matt Lapinskas (Eastenders), Tony Discipline (Eastenders), Derry and Charlie from X Factor finalists Risk, Shane Richie Jnr actor/Musician, Dean Smith (Waterloo Road), Nico Mallegro (Hollyoaks), Danny Tennant (Hollyoaks/Emmerdale), Reece Douglas (Waterloo Road) - plus more names to be announced as the date gets nearer. (All appearances depend on filming or concert appearances.)

The stars represent a charity known as `Once Upon a Smile` and are sponsored by JD Sports.

Taking them on are `Luchford’s Legends` who will include Andy Hessenthaler, Nicky Southall, Tonbridge Angels manager Tommy Warrilow and Dover Athletic player boss Nicky Forster amongst a number of well-known local players.
