....Saturday with St Blazey racking up an 11-0 win at home to struggling Penzance at Blaise Park in a result that will hardly help the Magpies fortunes.
Liverton United played and won their first ever game at Step 6 as they won 2-1 away at Ivybridge Town with Robbie Bowker scoring both goals for the new boys.
Also winning away were Cullompton Rangers, who had a slender 1-0 success at Bovey Tracey with Marcus Pethick scoring the game`s only goal.
Elburton Villa started the season in good form with a 4-2 win at Haye Road over Camelford with Levi Landricombe bagging an opening day hat-trick for Villa, and also winning on the opening weekend were Witheridge, who beat Liskeard Athletic 2-1 at Edge Own Park.
One game ended in a draw as Falmouth Town scored twice late on to salvage a 2-2 draw at home to Torpoint Athletic.
