.....outing of the season for reigning champions Bodmin Town, who carried on where they left off last season with a comfortable 7-0 home win over Bovey Tracey.

Early league leaders are Elburton Villa who followed up two home wins in the first week with a 4-0 away win at Penzance to reamin 100% from three matches.

Penzance, however, should take some comfort from the far more modest margin achieved compared to recent results.

A trio of sides moved onto six points with Witheridge reaching that from two games played as they beat Ivybridge Town 5-0 at Edge Down Park.

Both Newquay and St Blazey are on six points from a possible nine as Newquay won 2-0 away at Torpoint Athletic for their first away day Step 6 victory, whilst St Blazey also winning on the road with a 1-0 win at Liskeard Athletic.

Both Camelford and Tavistock earned their first league wins of the season with Camelford 3-0 victors` at home to Cullompton Rangers, whilst Tavistock edged a seven-goal thriller to win 4-3 away at Falmouth Town.

Liverton United played their first ever home game at Step 6 and achieved a decent point from a 1-1 draw with visiting Launceston.
