Plymouth Parkway went top after a 2-1 win at home to Camelford and are now in pole position.
Launceston could have gone top but they were beaten 2-1 away at Newquay, whilst Tavistock also missed the chance after they lost 0-1 at home to Saltash United.
Elburton Villa climbed a place to fourth after a 4-3 win away at Torpoint Athletic, whilst Ivybridge Town broke into the top six after a 6-0 win away at Liskeard Athletic.
It was a particularly bad day for the Lux Park club as in addition to losing they are now in the bottom two after Cullompton Rangers over took them.
Cully won 2-1 away at bottom side Penzance in the big relegation clash at Penlee Park. The final two top flight games saw the home sides run out with 6-1 wins.
Witheridge beat Bovey Tracey by that margin at Edge Down Park whilst St Austell were also 6-1 victors` in their home game with troubled Falmouth Town.
East Division side Exmouth Town are the first club through to the last eight of the Throgmorton League Cup competition after they beat West Division side Penryn Athletic 2-0 at Southern Road.
The final third round Devon Premier Cup tie was resolved in dramatic fashion as the University of Exeter beat North Devon League outfit BOCA Seniors 5-4 in a nine-goal thriller at Topsham Road.
The Students will be one of six SWP East clubs in Mondays last eight draw.
