South West Peninsula League Round-Up...

Plymouth Parkway on Friday and Dartmouth on Saturday fell victim to the weather and the game at St Austell was abandoned due to an injured referee!

With most teams in action at the wrong end of the table the one exception was Launceston who could have gone back to the top of the table with a win but failed to do so after being held to a 2-2 draw at home to Saltash United.

At the foot of the table both the bottom 2 sides, who had managed just two wins between them all season recorded wins today.

Bottom side St Blazey had a narrow 1-0 win at home to Bovey Tracey but remain bottom as the Royal Marines chalked up a very impressive 4-1 win away at Camelford in a match that was played in aid of the RBL poppy appeal.

Elburton Villa remain in danger but collected a point from a 2-2 draw at home to Tavistock and climbed a place above Penzance who lost 0-1 at home to Witheridge in a game held up by a serious injury to a Magpies player.

Torpoint Athletic carried on their recent good form with a 1-0 win at home to Cullompton Rangers and climb two places to tenth.
