....recorded wins as the title race hots-up.
Bodmin Town who went top in midweek consolidated their lead with a 4-1 win at home to Cullompton Rangers to stay a point ahead of Launceston, who were 2-1 away winners at Penzance.
Falmouth Town in third spot had a comfortable 4-0 win at home to Witheridge, whilst Buckland Athletic stay in fourth after bouncing back from last Saturday`s defeat at Elburton Villa to win 3-1 away at lowly St Blazey.
In fact away from the title race the danger zone at the bottom also provides a thrilling race with St Blazey staying on eleven points but five ahead of the Royal Marines, who lost 0-1 at home to Dartmouth - the Commandos third loss by a single strike in the past eight days.
One side who did collect a vital point are Ivybridge Town, who played away at Tavistock and drew 1-1 to move onto twelve points.
Elsewhere, St Austell bounced back from two defeats in the past week to win 1-0 at home to Saltash United and it was also 1-0 up at Trefrew Park where Camelford beat Elburton Villa by the games` only goal.
The semi-final line-up in the Cornwall Charity Cup was completed on Saturday as Newquay won 1-0 away at holders Callington Town in the last outstanding quarter-final tie.
The Peppermints will now meet Penryn Athletic in April to decide who reaches the May 9th final.
