....dilemma after impressing in last night’s 2-0 pre-season friendly win at Royston Town.
Danny Naisbitt had been providing cover for the injured Zac Barrett and was set to start the season as City’s number one, but he has accepted a deal at Blue Square Bet Premier side Braintree Town.
But Ordonez commanded his penalty box and showed good distribution at Garden Walk, with manager Gary Roberts appearing likely to go into the season with him as his No 1.
"Danny Naisbitt got this offer of a full-time contract on a one-year deal, so what can you say," said Roberts.
"It’s just a bit disappointing because we were looking nice and settled, and the timing isn’t great.
"Enol did okay last night and he might have saved us a problem.
"He speaks enough of the language and it helps having another Spanish lad David Prada in the side."
Roberts does have a third Spaniard in his squad in the form of Victor Torres, but he may be loaned out if triallist Jack Dekanski earns a deal.
Another man given the chance to impress last night was former Swindon Town striker Jordan Pavett, who played the second half at Garden Walk, and he could feature again at the weekend.
Last night, the Lilywhites took just 35 seconds to break the deadlock, Joey Abbs tying the Royston defence in knots and slotting home.
Royston’s on-loan Cambridge United goalkeeper Will Norris denied Craig Hammond with a couple of good saves, but he was beaten by Lee Clift’s first-time effort on the hour-mark.
