...from Monday night's well attended training session that he has made three additional signings.
The three newcomers takes Spillane`s player personnel level up to fourteen now checked in at the Oakside Stadium ahead of the 2011/12 campaign.
Those who put pen-to-paper on Monday are players of real quality - Andy Oxby, Jamie Haywood and Mark Nougher.
Oxby, capable of playing as a central defender or in midfield, was greatly admired by his new boss at his former outfit, Essex Senior Leaguers Stansted, where he was also awarded the captaincy.
Oxby's CV is out of the top drawer, being an Romford player in their Essex Senior League championship season en-route to a successful transfer to the Ryman League, also having been on the books of Norwich City as a schoolboy. Haywood relished the chance to link up again with his former Stansted manager but punctuated last season by spending time at Redbridge`s league rivals Waltham Forest.
He is predominantly a skillful, left-sided front runner with good pace and attitude towards the game. Nougher completes the trio and again the list of former sides is impressive being on the books at Arsenal, Norwich City and Erith & Belvedere alongside being at Redbridge last season early on in the campaign.
Nougher is a central midfielder of real substance and Spillane was delighted to obtain his signature. Spillane finalised by saying: “We are really putting the work in behind the scenes. My latest additions will strengthen our belief still further.”
