Spitfires Bag Cherries` Nelson
Mitchell Nelson

...AFC Bournemouth after he`d had his contract cancelled by mutual consent, and subject to the completion of the necessary paperwork, hope that he will be available for the game at home to Boreham Wood on Saturday.

Nelson has spent the last three months of the campaign with Conference Premier side Lincoln City, and made a dozen appearances for the Imps. He has also had loan spells with Lewes, Tooting & Mitcham United and Eastbourne Borough.

Nelson was signed by former boss Eddie Howe in the summer of 2010, but failed to make a first-team appearance for the Cherries.

Nelson can play at right-back or centre half and will add significant flexibility to the Spitfires squad.
