Spoils Shared at Cleeve and Sholing

....season after letting slip a two-goal lead at Katye Lane against Bishops Cleeve on Wednesday night.

Marcus Duharty gave Mangotsfield the ideal start, opening his account for the season when scoring with just 4 minutes played.

The same player doubled the advantage 5 minutes before half-time. However, in added time at the end of the half Carl Brown struck to give the hosts hope of a comeback.

With the points seemingly heading Mangotsfield's way, Iain Sercombe levelled for Bishops Cleeve with just 5 minutes remaining.

The other game on Wednesday between Sholing and Didcot Town also finished 2-2.

Morgan Williams scored a 25-yard drive to give Didcot a 25th minute lead before the home side fought back with goals from Barry Mason after 41 minutes and Lee Bright on 53.

On the hour-mark Didcot levelled through James Clark, but they were grateful to Marco Belloli in goal making for some vital saves to keep it at 2-2.
