....Combination Premier Division opener at Atherstone Town on Saturday.
Turk has been the subject of an approach from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South side Halesowen Town at the beginning of this week.
The Bromsgrove-based midfielder, who cannot drive, has yet to make his mind up on whether he wants to stay at Sporting or move to the Yeltz.
Manager Keith Draper said: “There was some talk last week that Halesowen were interested and they called up on Monday to say they wanted to talk to the lad.
“I would never stop a player from progressing but I am not sure what decision he will make.
“He’s just had a child and doesn’t drive so those factors might play a part in his decision, although I am not sure what Halesowen’s budget is.”
Turk has been a revelation since joining the Rouslers from Fairfield Villa at the start of the year.
He is one of a number of headaches the manager has going into Saturday’s opening clash at relegated Atherstone.
Defensive siblings Chris and Mike Thurbon as well as Stuart Bright miss the clash because they are attending the Olympic Games.
Mike Thurbon is also set to miss the first seven games because he is on holiday.
Despite the set-back, the manager is relishing the season getting under way after seven weeks of intense preparation.
Sporting notched up two friendly wins last week with a 1-0 win over Stourport Swifts last week and a 5-0 victory over Barnt Green last Saturday, with Chris Morrison (2), Jon Rogers, Chris Conway and Stuart Hall on target.
Draper said: “We’re missing three on Saturday because of the Olympics and might be without Wayne Turk, so there are a few issues to sort out.
“But I am really looking forward to the start of the campaign, the pre-season has been really good.
“The win over Barnt Green was very handy.
“We scored inside the first minute but then went to sleep and they went for us.
“We’re missing a few on Saturday but that’s a chance for other members of the squad to come in and take their chance.”
