St Helens Looking for New Manager

.....manager following the departure of Jimmy McBride.

Club chairman John McKiernan said: “Jimmy’s second stint at Town came in the middle of a difficult period for the club as a whole and despite his and the players considerable efforts our final league position was unacceptable.

“Following a brief meeting we agreed to part company, and I would thank Jimmy and his backroom staff and wish them well for the future.”

The club endured a very difficult 2011/12 season and is now looking to rebuild for the forthcoming campaign. Applicants should ideally have experience of North West Counties League football and must be willing to work in conjunction with the club’s reserves and newly-formed youth team.

Application letters/CVs should include all relevant experience and should be emailed to club secretary Jeff Voller at sthelenstownfc@hotmail.co.uk and anyone wishing to discuss the position is welcome to contact club chairman John McKiernan on 07713 339 682.

The closing date for applications is 6pm on Friday, 25th May with shortlisting and interviews being held week commencing Monday, 28th May.
