Danny Andrew

....signing of full-back Danny Andrew from npower League Two side Cheltenham Town on an emergency loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old, who has also enjoyed spells with Tamworth and Kidderminster Harriers, has made eleven first-team starts this season for Cheltenham, who sit second in the table.

Andrew was rewarded with a new contract last summer after missing just three league games throughout the whole of last season.

He will head straight in to the Stags squad as Cox’s men face Tamworth at The Lamb tomorrow.

Cox said: "It's been no secret that we've been looking for another defender to add to the squad.

"Danny's a good defender with a sweet left foot and has played a decent amount of games for Cheltenham this season.

"There may another signing in the next week or so, as we need to make sure we have enough bodies in all areas," he added.
