Saturday’s last game of the season marked Jai Stanley’s final game for Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club Barwell.

Jai Stanley

Stanley led out the team for his final performance for the club in the 1-1 draw against Evesham United.

He made his debut for Barwell on the 5th February 2011 away at Carlton Town, replacing Kevin Charley up front.

Well-travelled Stanley had previous experience with Moor Green, Worcester City, Redditch United, Atherstone Town and Bedworth United where he was captain.

During his time with the Canaries, Stanley has made many telling contributions either as a supplier of balls into the box from corners and free-kicks or as a central midfielder where he was always in the thick of the action both attacking and defensively.

His influence and experience in the dressing room and on the training field will also be sorely missed by his friends and colleagues.
