Stanley Makes Crusaders Switch

Alex Stanley

.....transferred to Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West rivals Hungerford Town.

Stanley made more than 130 appearances for the Railwaymen, scoring ten goals, since his move to the npower Loop Meadow Stadium in 2009.

He particularly endeared himself to the Diddy supporters when he was one of only two players to remain at the club following their relegation in April 2011.

Stanley is a left-back and made his first appearance for Hungerford in a comfortable victory at Southern Division One Central side Fleet Town.

The Crusaders won the match 3-0 with goals coming from Luke Hopper, Harry Goodger and Carl Davies.
