Ridgeons Football League

The Seasiders’ league rivals are on the look-out for a new boss following Wayne Bond’s resignation last Thursday.
They have turned their attention to Pitt and made the approach through Clacton co-owner David Ballard on Monday.
Ballard confirmed the situation and said: “It’s disappointing and I don’t want to lose Steve.
“I’ve got a good relationship with him and am hopeful he’ll stay.
“We’ve set the club up around his requirements, in terms of the way he wants to take us forward.
“We’ve withdrawn our West Clacton side from the Kent Blaxill Essex & Suffolk Border League in order to enter the Ridgeons Reserve League.
“That was what he felt would be best and hopefully he’ll stand by us.”
